It was about time for Hendri van der Putten and Mirjam Berloth to have a joint exhibition; their works are related.
Mirjam Berloth, who was van der Puttens’ student at the art academy, uses all kinds of materials, usually white. Recently she added colour. To Hendri the use of colour has been essential for all of her life. What connects both artists is a playful approach of abstraction in which all colors can take part.   ArtSpace, Amsterdam, July 2021
