Screensaver 2009
Some images are too hard to look at without protection. A ‘screensaver’ turns ugly scenes into soft toned, and beautiful screens . This installation was made for  ‘Het Troostpaleis’, an exhibition and festival organised by Bernadette Jilesen on the topic of solace. In the confession booth a tv with video player was set up. It showed wildlife documentaries. Every day the artist made new screens to cover the tv using typing paper and tape. Visitors were invited to create their own screensavers.
