Kwasi Afrikani 2008
Klaas de Jonge collected many masks on his travels for the ANC through Africa. They are all stowed away in blue boxes now and are the starting point for this exhibition organized by Wim Vonk in his studio in Weesp. I found the masks hard to look at and from typing paper and black paint I made a protecting blob so visitors could take some time out.
