Sticks and Stones 2018
Pouring plaster on a structure made from horizontal slats.

25 horizontal wooden slats are hanging from an iron beam. They mirror the angles of the rafters of the roof that covers the former NDSM shipyard, now an artist community.

Everyday Berloth will, while standing on a ladder, pour plaster from a bucket onto the construction. Most of the wet plaster will hit the floor. On the slats it solidifies in uneven globs.

SETNET is a group of artists which comes together when it is requested to organise an exhibition of video and installation for a specific space. The artists work with the history of such a place and develop new work for this occasion. One of the artists takes on the role of curator.
